Welcome to the In Sync Canine Training program for Handlers

Together let's go on a great journey together into the wonderful world of dog training and exploring the fun that having a trusting and honest relationship with our dogs.

With In Sync training, we focus on training YOU, so you can become the best dog trainer you can be!

Training YOU to be the best all around partner you can be for your dog!

With In Sync training, we focus on having an all around handler so they can become a great partner for their canine. We want you to be able to train a dog to be joyful and eager to interact without having to add "excitement" because of a food or toy lure or reward.  We train with the goal to have you acquire the skills to train your dog so they are happy to interact with their handler for the joy of being a team mate with their human.  We want a relationship that is built upon trust and confidence from both the dog and the handler.
In our modern world, we are always being told that we must have special dog treats or special toys to get our dogs to be willing to work with us and be happy living with us.   We should not let go of the basic reality that our dogs "like" us!  It is becoming common for people to spend all of their energy trying to teach the dog to like toys or treats more than they like us.  If we cultivate the dog's natural desires to be connected to their person, we find that most dogs don't need all of the extra treats and toys.  Will they take them?  Certainly!  But what most dogs want the most is for us to rise to the challenge of being the greatest reward possible and what our dogs want from the time we picked them or they picked us as a puppy or as adult dog.  Something about that dog made you choose them and something about you drew that dog to you.  Let's work on increasing that natural bond!  Learn how to train yourself to be the best handler your dog can have!
Have you ever watched an agility run and felt emotional because what you are watching is so beautiful and so perfect?  Perhaps you have had a run where you have felt that beauty and perfection yourself.  These are the runs where handler and dog are so seamlessly connected as if bound together by some invisible and magical thread.  It is this harmony, this synchronicity of teamwork most agility competitors aspire to.  Many mistakenly believe that the magic can be found in training obstacles and performing drills over and over again.  This could not be further from the truth.  The true magic can be found in the relationship you form with your dog and the mental state you nurture and cultivate during the dogs foundation and beyond.  It is about becoming the partner that your dog needs both inside and outside of the ring.  Become that partner and also have the dog as a partner that you always wanted.  Partners that trust each other via communication skills that each team member understands.
Learn how to establish the relationship built on trust, confidence, and respect between dog and handler.   When the dog and handler trust and respect each other and have a high level of confidence in each other, they can reach goals that others will dream about.

Once you learn how to relate to your dog on both an emotional and physical level, then your partnership with your canine has no limits!
